Here are the highlights of what you missed…
- REGISTRATION ENDS AT 9AM SHARP (Winter Hours)!
- $16 Match fee for Non-members (ARPC).
- 50% off match fee for Non-Member on the range by 7:30 to help set up stages!
- THE 3 VISIT RULE IS WAIVED FOR THIS MATCH!
- AND…if you are an ARPC Member, you will be able to earn club work hours by helping with the match!
If you didn’t know, these are some pretty big changes to the standard operating procedures for IDPA matches at the Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club, which wasn’t particularly concerned with non-member participation or access in the past. These changes aren’t necessarily permanent, but they are piloting them with the specific purpose of promoting IDPA in the region and engaging a wider audience of IDPA shooters.
This is really great news, and the changes should be applauded. Making IDPA more accessible is the best way to keep it alive and vibrant in the region. ARPC has always been a huge supporter and a rich destination for the shooting sports and it is awesome to see them take initiative to vigorously promote IDPA as well.
