Competition Skills and Drills Night at the Range St. Louis West is intended to focus on developing the kinds of skills you need to be competitive in the pistol shooting sports by focusing on drills that replicate common engagements found in matches. It is intended to be both a great introduction to competitive shooting as well as a great live-fire practice session for more experienced shooters. This is a Single-Bay Event Limited to 20 Participants, though the wait-list is available. The Range St. Louis West is located 14803 Manchester Road in Ballwin, MO 63011 and you will need to be paid and in the Classroom at 6pm sharp for role call and safety briefing. First-time Attendees: Welcome! We love to see new people in our sport and look forward to having you. Please plan on being in the classroom by 5:30 PM for the New Shooter's Meeting and Range Orientation. We can get all your questions answered there. If you cannot make the new shooters meeting, please reach out to me in advance to let me know! ***Remember to get a receipt for your payment.*** The Range rules and waiver. Needs to be done once a year. https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5d7805e7db94b/web/ Bring firearms, holsters, 2 single or a double mag pouch, 3 or more mags, and 100 rounds. *Appendix holsters are acceptable but unless you have an established history in the shooting sports, or have been Holster Draw Certified by the Range Training staff, you will be required to demonstrate safe holstering/drawing techniques before your live-fire participation. Matches at the Range are operated "cold" meaning that your firearm will remain unloaded except under the direct instruction and observation of the Safety Officer.
